About

Anneka Gray (BA Hons. & Cert. GA) is a jewellery designer based in London and, more recently, in Market Harborough. After studying Jewellery design at London’s prestigious Central St. Martins, Anneka embarked on an adventure through the fashion & textile industries, working for inspirational British labels like Alexander McQueen, Shaun Leane, and Vanderhurd. In 2013 Anneka took the step to follow her passion in jewellery design, setting up her jewellery brand, Spanner & Wingnut.

As the brand evolved, the name did too. After a reflective time during the Covid Pandemic, 2022 saw the brand name change to Anneka Gray Jewellery. Still keeping to her core ethos and inspired by architecture, art deco, space & imagination, each piece combines lustrous edges with accents of luxury.  Anneka focuses on bespoke, made to order creations, specialising in engagement and wedding jewellery, as well as jewellery to mark a special occasion.

Each piece is handmade in London’s Hatton Garden, combining traditional and modern manufacturing techniques with precious metals and gemstones. This fusion of techniques helps Anneka create streamline designs and timeless heirlooms.

The Process

Commissioning a piece of jewellery is an incredibly special time. At Anneka Gray Jewellery we aim to make the bespoke journey a personal one, where the client can be involved as much or as little as they would like to be. Anneka meets each client in person or via Zoom, welcoming all briefs, from engagement and signet rings to anniversary gifts and reimagining heirlooms.

Anneka designs from the traditional to the more creative, with a tendency to edge towards geometric shapes and gemstone focus. Once designed, the final product takes between 8 - 12 weeks to create, with the more technically complicated designs taking the longest.

Anneka Gray Jewellery specialises in the design & manufacturing of luxury pieces of jewellery, using 18ct Gold and Platinum, and sourcing exquisite gemstones, such as Diamonds, Emeralds, and Sapphires to name a few, and most definitely not limited to. Having studied at the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, Anneka has a passion for coloured gemstones. We work closely with a loyal and talented group of craftsmen in London's Hatton Garden, to create timeless and unique pieces of jewellery.
